Mission Projects

 

 

 

On the last day of the quarter collect your used Sunday School literature and packets from each class. Provide boxes (with lids) for groups to place the literature in. Have a person from your church close the lids on the boxes and deliver it to the Baptist Building during the dates listed below. The literature is picked up, delivered to a warehouse to be sorted, and then shipped all over the world to missionaries needing teaching resources.

 

 

Bibles are collected, along with the Sunday School literature, and shipped to missionaries around the world for those needing a Bible to read.

 

 

A hospital in Ghana uses the clean envelopes to put prescriptions in for patients when they leave the hospital. Many church members don’t use all of their envelopes and just throw them away. Instead, have church members bring in all offering envelopes that aren’t used during the year. Put the envelopes together in a single box, out of their distribution box. Do not add anything else (such as packing) to the box. Make sure that the box will close (to keep the envelopes clean).

 

All three projects are collected by the same truck on a quarterly basis. At the end of the quarter, collect your items and deliver them to the Baptist Building the following week for pickup.
